Heather grew up loving classical dance forms and studied ballet, jazz, and modern dance for 15 years.  She developed a passion for other cultures while in college and lived abroad for 7 years, traveling throughout Asia and Europe.  She moved to Raleigh in 2007 and began studying bellydance under the instruction of Blue Moon Dance Company.  Heather feels that bellydance combines her love of diverse cultures with her love of music and dance. 

In addition to dancing with Twilight Tribal, Heather is co-owner of World In Motion Dance, Movement & Music Center in Morrisville, where she teaches a variety of classes.  She also teaches ShimmyFit, a bellydance aerobics class at LionsGate Athletic Club in Clayton, and is a member of ACCMED (The Association of Central Carolina Middle Eastern Dancers), a professional organization for Middle Eastern dance teachers.   Heather is certified to teach American Tribal Style® (ATS®) General Skills by Carolena Nericcio of FatChanceBellyDance®.  For more information about her classes or Twilight Tribal, contact Heather at hewmurph@gmail.com.

Lisa, also known as Shaiya, has been bellydancing for 5 years and has a background in ballet and modern dance.  Lisa enjoys dancing with Twilight Tribal, and is also the director of Happy Hips Children's Bellydance Troupe and teaches children’s classes in Morrisville at World In Motion.  She also offers children’s bellydance birthday parties in the Triangle area and brings her professional experience in the field of child psychology and counseling into her work with children.  In 2011, she became certified in ATS® General Skills by Carolena Nericcio of FatChanceBellyDance®.  Lisa is an active member of ACCMED (The Association of Central Carolina Middle Eastern Dancers).  For more information about classes, Happy Hips performances, or birthday parties, please contact Lisa at lisaallreddraper@yahoo.com.

Ming inspires her troupemates, classmates and audience members with her endless energy and enthusiasm for bellydance.  A student of both tribal and orientale styles of bellydance, Ming has taken many workshops with renowned bellydance professionals such as Amani Jabril, Ansuya, Ariellah, Bozenka, Donna Mejia, Fahtiem, Lisa Zahiya, Mira Betz, Mardi Love, Rachel Brice, Amy Sigil of Unmata, Tamalyn Dallal, and Zoe Jakes.  She has studied under several local instructors including Blue Moon Dance Company, Haala, and Hannan Sultan.  Ming enjoys dancing with Twilight Tribal and is an active member of ACCMED (The Association of Central Carolina Middle Eastern Dancers).  In 2011, she became certified in ATS® General Skills by Carolena Nericcio of FatChanceBellyDance®.
